We are Grunchiez, a grunge and alternative rock band from Kathmandu, Nepal, driven by a love for raw sound, honest lyrics, and unapologetic expression. Our music is heavily influenced by the spirit of classic grunge and alternative rock, blended with our own experiences, emotions, and realities shaped by life in Nepal. Through heavy guitar riffs, powerful rhythms, and intense vocals, we aim to create music that feels real, relatable, and deeply personal.

As a band, we believe in staying true to the core of rock music — authenticity. Our songs explore themes of identity, struggle, time, connection, and resilience, reflecting the voice of a generation navigating change. In 2025, we released our debut album Gaas Baas Kapaas, marking an important milestone in our journey as a Nepali rock band and helping us reach a wider audience within Nepal’s growing alternative music scene.

We are known for our high-energy live performances and our commitment to keeping the grunge and rock culture alive in Nepal. Alongside our album, tracks like Samaya, Sahara, Hid, and Angalo Ma represent different shades of our sound — from introspective and emotional to loud and aggressive.
