Sushant Ghimire is an emerging Nepali singer-songwriter who first stepped into the music scene in 2015 as a cover artist. Over time, he transitioned into an original creator, now celebrated for songs that are themselves covered by many aspiring musicians. Born and raised in Biratnagar, Ghimire initially pursued engineering but left it behind to follow his true passion for music. Influenced by Hindi artists like Atif Aslam and Kailash Kher, he began composing and sharing his own work online.

His breakthrough came in January 2025 with the viral hit Jindagi Sarara Motor Gadima, which climbed to #5 on YouTube’s trending list after gaining massive traction on TikTok. Inspired by a motorbike ride, the track struck a chord with listeners through its infectious chorus and relatable theme. Before this success, he had already released originals such as Ajambari Maya, Ukali Orali, and Pari—his debut single in 2020.

Despite financial hurdles, Ghimire’s determination has been strengthened by the support of Mantra Guitars, under whose banner he performs as a Mantra Artist. His artistic pursuits also extend beyond music—he appeared in the play Kohi Kina Barbad Hos at Kunja Theatre, showcasing his versatility.

Currently, Sushant is crafting his debut album, which promises his signature storytelling style and will even include a Hindi track, highlighting his ambition to grow as a boundary-pushing and versatile artist.
